For advanced mountain biking I need a hard saddle but my butt likes it a little softer. From epic mountain bike rides to short 2-hour rides, this saddle offers stiffness and comfortable support. I have one for each of my three mountain bikes. I was considering buying a 4th after a small dent blew a hard 1/2" branch through the saddle on one of my mountain bikes, but ended up with a hole and 1/2" tear through the branch myself my saddle works perfectly. The damaged saddle still works well and hasn't snapped again even after a few rides through rocky terrain in Sedona. Another plus: every now and then I can't drive for a long time. We all know what it means to get back in the saddle after a long break. butt hurts With this saddle, I noticed that I'm only sore from the second day and I recover from buttock pain much faster with this saddle than with other brands of saddles. I used to really like WTB saddles until I tried this saddle. Price: When I bought my 2020 IBIS Ripmo, the bike shop charged me $175 for this saddle. I bought another saddle for my 2016 Giant Trance I from Amazon for $95 fall 2020. Now, 3 months later, it costs $114. For my new 2021 IBIS Ripmo 2 saddle, I charged $175 again for this saddle. This is my local shop so I would rather support this shop staying open than not, especially with so many local family businesses closing their doors permanently in the wake of the pandemic.
