The waistband was larger, but they were one size. I wore it with a black vest ordered from Revain and a black blazer and got lots of compliments at the New Year's Eve party. The elastic waistband wasn't much of a problem with a belt or vest, and it might not have been a full circle, but it was a very roomy skirt. I'm glad I bought.
