This is a solid stethoscope; it looks and feels well made and has held up great. The earpieces are angled as they are supposed to and fit in the ear nicely. This comes in a big box which makes it easy to wrap as a gift. The chest piece is nice - there is no real bell to hold as you might see in other stethoscopes. There's a spot to grip with your fingers but not the usual bell that kind of helps hold your fingers down. This makes this only slightly more challenging to hold in place, especially with a dog who moves a lot, which most of them do! But that's a minor issue. Otherwise it works and sounds great and has held up nicely.
