Review on Focusrite Clarett 4 Out Audio Interface by Ali Saunders

I bought this item thinking it would be an upgrade for my 5 year old Focusrite 18/6; it is not. Are you really disappointed with the performance of this device and the new software that comes with it? Terrible. After a late install my computer just had problems and sometimes the sound would cut out even when playing the instrument. I thought it would be better, but it isn't. There may be something wrong with the device itself, but I don't think that's the problem. Be careful with this until this issue is resolved...as of 2018/12/06 this issue is still unresolved. No matter where you set the delay, there will be clicks/pops throughout the recording process. Their product support just couldn't fix the problem no matter what they tried.
