Basically I bought this to play Doctor Who, that's Region 2 of course. It's a regionless player and it plays Region 2 movies but not Doctor Who. I think it could play on my son's computer but not on my Apple. So I think it has to do with the sheer stinginess of the BBC. It's not the DVD player. What's really frustrating me is that I've changed the cause too many times and now I'm stuck in region 2! What's the point if you have American films alongside British films! I only have a few non-BBC region 2 movies but a lot of region 1 movies that I can't watch because I was trying to get Doctor Who with my 5 region switch! I would be fine if I could play the BBC show. I would be fine if I could only play American movies. But now I'm stuck on a few. Free regions should be able to switch back and forth!
