If you are unfamiliar with Layrite Mattifying Cream, do yourself a favor and give it a try. This is the perfect trial size and is best for travel as it matches TSA sizing. The scent is stunning and creates a somewhat natural hold. Doesn't shine at all. Experiment with varying the "wetness" of your hair as this will create a different hold. Try a few different methods until you find your desired combination of wet hair and amount of cream. I will say that a little helps and if you use too much it ruins the natural look.
