Very easy to install - only takes a few seconds per door. I put it on both front doors and sunroof of my new Kia Soul. The parking spaces in the garage at my apartment are very tight, and knocking the door on my neighbor's car doesn't scratch it. Even when I open the sunroof in the parking lot, the edge rests against the concrete beam above my head - this protects the edge from scratches. Of course it's a small piece of plastic meant to prevent scratches from a relatively soft contact, not full force against something! One note - if you spin it, it spins. As you attach, continue to press the leading edge against your lip with one hand and forward a few inches with the other hand to unroll and align. Look at my photos, starting with the door, finished (after about 20 seconds) and how it looks on the door afterwards.
