Poor quality control Device packaging and assembly instructions

The packaging of table building materials was good, but the device packaging was poor. There was a small perforated hole in the side of one of the nut and washer compartments, causing parts to be scattered throughout the packaging box. I don't know if I'm missing a nut somewhere in the room in my house where I assembled the table, or if they missed a nut when packing. Also, even with fewer than 10 unique hardware components, it is not an easy process to match which piece of hardware corresponds to which instruction. There is no labeling on the packaging to indicate which compartment corresponds to the hardware listed in the Included section of the instructions, making it difficult to know which screw I should use. Perhaps a trivial issue for most customers, but considering how much this product costs compared to competing products, I would expect more. As a long time fan of CycleOps (first Fluid2 and then upgraded to H2 with more experience) this makes me question the quality of the new brand that has emerged since the Saris acquisition.

Cons
  • Generally okay, but...
