Worth every penny!
Definitely worth the money. Yes, you can buy any old plastic magnifier for a lot less. But once you do that, you won't go back to your cheap magnifying glass. The elements, coatings and precise processing result in a VERY bright and sharp image at 22x magnification. And it comes with a nifty little black felt-lined case, unlike the cheaper Peak loupes. This is a precise instrument.
