Received this on a recent trip to Europe. It has a pretty good build. I wasn't overly gullible and picked up a few spares, but the original two or three that I used daily stayed in place for almost 60 days with frequent plugging and unplugging. I had no problems. This has worked for me with varying degrees of success in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Italy. Now there seems to be two thicknesses of tines in Europe. This adapter uses a thinner type for obvious reasons, so it will fit both taller slanted sockets and thinner sockets, which is not possible vice-versa. Now it would feel a bit loose with the big pins, but it held up well for me. I don't plug in huge adapters there, but rather a small phone adapter and regular cords, which probably helps with stability. Also, the smaller heads worked where the end caps appear as rounded indentations, which would not be possible with the larger design. it was really a nuisance. It's small enough and cheap enough that having a few in your bag is beyond reassuring. It was definitely worth the money for me, except now I feel like I have way too many.
