These shock absorbers differ from those shown in the photo and are suitable for Focus sedans. The top mount is a male mount, unlike the mount shown in the photo. The top also uses different grommets for attachment to the body and there are no instructions. They are inserted against the bump curve with a washer, then with a socket, and then installed in the car. After passing the threaded end through the body inside the barrel, another sleeve is placed onto the body mount, then the final washer is bent down and locked with a new nut. Hope that helps.
