I was trying to use it to transmit an HDMI signal over 200ft Cat 6 and the signal dropped at 1080p every few seconds. It worked fine when I dropped the resolution to 720p, but while I can't find it in the description now, it swears it's rated for that 1080p distance. Anyway, I tried another brand (OREI 330-EX) and it was worse and didn't work at all even though it was rated for 300+ feet. The third brand I tried, the J-Tech HD BitT model, ended up working as expected. So if you're running shorter distances or are fine with 720p, this RevainBasics model will likely work just fine. However, don't expect it to work over very long distances, even with Cat 6 cables.
