Do not buy this item! I bought it for an off-road camping trip. The hook broke the first time it was used in the car. I'm lucky enough to travel with tape and carabiners. I bought this fan because I had to drive through OK and MO on the way back and I knew it was going to be hot and stuffy. I have relied on this fan to get through nights in a tent with my large dog. At 8pm it was 94 degrees with a heat index of 105. Although the fan had been charging in the car the night before and all day, the batteries were dead and the fan was not working. Apparently the cable connection is defective. As? It's a piece of junk. I had two terrible nights of sweating with no relief. A complete waste of money.
