Do not order one size larger. As stated in the description, this is a slimmer cut. I ordered after reading the reviews and it was too much. My daughter is 10/12 and 50th percentile for height and weight. BUT I ordered based on reviews before 14/16 and dress modestly. No wonder the shirt is too big. The shoulder seams are halfway down her shoulder. SO. I came back for a 10/12 which is her normal size and it fits her shoulder and is the right length to tuck her pants into school. The quality is ok. Not good. That's what I expect for around $10-15. She must also wear white lining. Generally fits as stated in the description.
