Overpriced but yes it works

Firstly I'm sure they are made in China for less than a dollar but they have short hair. Second, the statement is lame. And yes, you will lose the top two right switch positions unless you change the lock. To install this unit, make sure that the panel cover area between the main switch and the top left switch (generator input) is flat or even slightly concave towards the wall). Snap the latch on the generator input switch into place (install the wires first) and insert the small screw into the main switch. Before installing the panel cover, turn off the main switch and slide the main switch locking plate up and slightly to the side to keep it in place. Turn off the generator breaker and make sure its locking plate is down. Attach the front of the panel with the screws, then slide the main locking panel down so it overlaps the front of the panel. Make sure both slide lock plates move freely. You may need to bend the front of the panel or the sliding locking panels slightly to allow for free movement.

  • Adds an extra layer of security
