Review on 🚿 Culligan ISH-100 Inline Showerhead Filtration Attachment with 10,000 Gallon Filter - White by Jennifer Vasquez

I run a drinking water system. I chose to install this device in the shower so my hair doesn't dry out from the chlorine in the water. After installation, it seemed to me that the hair became less dry, but I wanted to check that all the chlorine was removed from the water. After testing tap water and filtered water, I found that this filter only removed about 0.5ppm of free chlorine. Tap water contained 1.19 ppm and filtered water contained 0.74 ppm free chlorine. I also checked the total hardness and alkalinity of the filtered water. Neither the total hardness nor the alkalinity changed significantly after filtration. So my conclusion is that the filter only removes part of the chlorine and not minerals. It seems that 0.5ppm chlorine removal is enough to keep my hair from drying out, but I wouldn't buy this product if you expect 100% chlorine removal.
