Alright folks. In case you are not aware, ferrofluids are inherently messy! Do not use this material (ferrofluid of any type or manufacturer) near anything you do not wish to stain, or take the precautions we have put in place and cover the counter or other surface with plastic before use. My son did his own science project on the interaction of ferrofluid with a neodymium magnet. It was a great project, but ferrofluid is a mess - luckily I read other user reports on this stuff when it was being produced! This is a good amount of ferrofluid at a good price compared to all other types and brands of ferrofluid on Amazon based on my research. Ferrofluid is a really cool thing. The splashes it makes when interacting with a solid magnet are really cool! Ferrofluid is essentially a liquid magnet. Have fun, but prepare in time.
