Review on Wagner Spraytech 0503008 Heat Gun by Jeffrey Gallagher

This is a quality heat gun with a wide range of temperature settings and two fan speeds. Most of my uses are electronic (shrink tubing, drying things, etc.) and it works great for all of those uses. It can also get hot enough to strip paint, although I probably wouldn't use it for a large job. like cleaning a barn wall. It's designed for small projects and crafts, and that's where it excels. This is how the device cools down after use. The only issue I've had is that I haven't figured out how to unplug the power cord from the heat gun. It seems to snap when I attached it, and the gun doesn't fit back into the box with the lanyard attached. I would order a case with it, which seems to avoid this problem, but accessories are available for this gun. (Case Type) that are not available through Revain for some reason. So I went straight to Wagner and ordered a case and some extra tips. It was probably necessary to go directly to them and not through Revain. Alright, live and learn. If only they'd tell me how to unplug that damn power cord! Otherwise recommended.
