I bought two new Delta fork rods for my wife's Xterra (I built the inner support myself out of an L-shaped piece of sheet metal and attached these brackets). Pros: On the previous Delta, the fork mount took a few tries to line up the lock position lever, but now the new design just snaps into place. Cons: After closing the lever, you really have to work your fingers or maybe a tool into the gap to open it. In the end, it's for the best since you don't want this thing opening without power. Summary: Use these to make your own bike rack using 2X6 planks on the back of your truck, or go to a hardware store and get creative with your SUV.
