Review on Honeywell FC100A1029 Replacement Filter by Nordic Pure: Improve Air Quality with Efficiency by Rob Clark

Not sure if it was just my order or other filters as well, but. So I replaced it with a second one about a week ago because I couldn't stand the smell. Today I opened the windows because it was a cool, windy day and I needed to air the house. I turned off the air conditioning and opened all the windows. A few hours later the house smelled fresh again. I closed the windows and turned the AC back on to find that the smell was coming from the block/filter the entire time. I'm returning to Honeywell. Never had any problems with their filters.
