Good motherboard in motherboards

I had an i7 6700k and thought it was time to upgrade. I was going to buy the 2600x but then found out the 3000 series was coming out soon so I waited. I bought the 3900x as it competes with the 9900k and along with the processor I also bought this board. I love that this board gives me even more overclocking options than my Z170. I also downloaded Ryzen Master for on-the-fly setup. The way the VRMs and heatsinks are constructed helps a bit with heat distribution/dissipation. I also bought it basically because adding a 12 core processor should still work at 145 amps or so. And my 3900x didn't hit 70C (running NZXT Kraken x62) when playing games like Anthem (for testing purposes), Destiny 2, Overwatch, but Cinebench R20 is the only one that gets it to 76C at 4.4GHz . However, it runs at around 40C, so I might need to tweak and do a little more research. I don't know much about electronics so I don't really understand why the 2nd 4 pin power connector was placed next to the 8 pin. Shouldn't the board work fine with an 8-pin connector? However, I love this board and it has everything I need for gaming and workloads. I think it's good value for money considering this is on the lower end of the boards section. I might upgrade the board in the future and leave it for another lower-end Ryzen processor and use that as a backup or living room PC.
