What can I say, it's the best material on the market

My experience: ASE Master Certified Technician with L1 and X1 certifications. Previously certified by Lexus Senior Certified, Toyota MDT Certified, Nissan Certified and GM Certified. In the electronics and instrumentation realm now, but an ardent fan of this material. What can I say, this is the best material on the market. I learned about it when I worked at Toyota and Lexus dealerships, and since then I've continued to implement it regardless of the manufacturer of the car I'm working on (or my own, for that matter). used industrially ever since. Don't worry about other brands of Ultra Black products or claims that it's the same product - it's not. A curing time of 3-5 minutes before puffing is sufficient. I've seen technicians add fluid with this product 5-15 minutes after installing a gasket with no problems (leaks). As for me, I prefer to leave it on for about an hour before adding any liquids that come in contact with this product. For the best seal, leave the car overnight and you will have a seal that will outlast the engine. Another neat trick is that this product can be used with paper gaskets, OEM metal gaskets (we've used this technique all along at the dealership with no returns), and Asian rocker cover gaskets (factory repair manuals require this on some OHCs). ). Installations with a rubber gasket, for example: camshaft plugs, corners where the rubber gasket goes around the camshaft bearing caps). With paper gaskets, here's the trick: Put a pea-sized amount of sealant on your index finger and apply the sealant to the sealing area with some pressure. What you are looking for is paper of thin, uniform thickness. Repeat this process until one side of the paper liner is covered. Remember, you're not trying to make a "double pad" here, you just want to create a sticky surface that will help the paper pad provide a more effective seal. For best results, finish on one side, then apply the gasket and press against one of the surfaces, then lightly cover the other side of the gasket. This simplifies installation, facilitates cleaning and provides an effective seal. As for the product, yes, it's good and worth every penny. I swear you could build houses out of it.
