Maybe it's just a short piece of cable.
Wherever we live in the city, we can't get a reliable digital signal. The same equipment used elsewhere gives excellent results. Analysis shows poor signal-to-noise ratio and marginal signal on all channels that do not meet industry standards. You would think someone could handle it (always lived 3-10 miles from any antennas) which is why everyone subscribes to cable TV. This amp has absolutely no effect on the signal, regardless of the settings. I don't think anyone cares because there's no money. I used to assemble analog TVs.
- Tips: Rescan channels after each turn of Smart Gain knob.
