This is a great bottle/glass holder. It's designed for a regular crutch, but I've attached it to a forearm crutch and it works great. I've put different types of bottles and styrofoam cups in this holder and they all stayed in place as I moved. The spring clips were able to spread far enough to easily fit my forearm crutch. The only thing that would improve this retainer would be if they made the velcro on the clip that wraps around the crutch longer to hold the clip in place. The existing Velcro length is for a normal crutch, with my forearm crutch being twice the circumference of a normal crutch. I will sew a velcro strip onto the current clip strips and solve this problem. So far it has met my expectations and lives up to what I put into it. I look forward to purchasing another for the opposite crutch
