The supplied adhesive must be removed and replaced with a suitable adhesive.
Aside from the "sticker" on the back to attach these items to your hot component, they're small, aluminum, blue, and they do what they're supposed to do. They dissipate heat. Replace the backing of the sticker with a suitable hot melt paste.
