Great value for money

They work great and are used in my VRM motherboard. Keeps them a lot cooler and the pre-applied adhesive works great and doesn't make a mess. Would buy again

Apart from the 'sticker' on the back to secure these items to a hot component they are small, made of aluminium, blue and they do what they have to do. They dissipate heat. Replace the backing of the sticker with a suitable hot melt paste.

A great inexpensive way to remove heat from small chips.

A great inexpensive way to remove heat from small chips. I mainly use them for stepper controllers that come with horrible little drains. Depending on your application, they allow me to use convection instead of active systems for cooling - making projects easier when you don't need to control temperature and fan PWM. They definitely pay off.

Used on Creality Ender 3v2 v4.2.2 motherboard, works very well!

On the Creality Ender 3v2, the manufacturer lowered the heatsinks of the 2209 stepper motor drivers and replaced the native heatsinks with these. Also, Creality set the stepper motor drive voltage too high. I lowered the voltage of all 4 drivers until the XYZE motors were warm and not too hot. This fixes the layer offset issue. I used hot melt adhesive for the heatsink instead of the thermal tape found on these heatsinks. I took off the thermal tape and taped it to the stepper drivers. My two…

Nice little heat sink.

I am using a pair in an electronics project to cool a controller IC on a pair of buck converters. In my case I removed the thermal tape and attached it with JB Weld Epoxy. I lightly sanded the heatsink and chip for good adhesion. And yes I know they are constantly applied which is what I wanted. Don't be afraid that the thermal tape will come off.
