No space in the case for connectors

Difficult to tell the size from the picture but thought I could climb the wall with a cable and connect it to the two cables that go to each solar panel. Inside the case there was no space for connectors, and the bend in the cable that passed through the roof almost did not allow it to be connected. the further I moved the arc away from the socket, the less room I had for the cable diameter to the gap in the case
