How many filter levels?
So there is an upper strainer and a lower strainer. The mesh size is the same for both filters, so everything that goes through the bottom screen also goes through the top screen. Judging by the dregs of my coffee cup, there is no difference between the coffee from this press and the coffee from my French Press with a strainer. On the plus side, it was inexpensive and the extra thick borosilicate glass is really cool. .
