EDIT June 15, 2014: After using another pillow (as mentioned in this review. Cushina pillow; it's here at Revain) for just under a week, I have tries again. . It doesn't seem to be helping my tailbone injury at all. There is virtually no support or relief when I sit on it. It's also difficult to make sure I'm sitting in the right position. If I stand up after sitting for 30 minutes, I get tailbone pain. Also, it's too hard and awkwardly shaped to be used anywhere else. I am reducing my rating to 1 star. Overall I would give it a 1.2 out of 5 as it works like a basic, somewhat stiff pillow. With that said, I can't think of any way to use this pillow. Perhaps this product will work for others with similar or different pain. However, this is not the case for me. So I'm bringing it back and sticking with my Cushina. The original rating is below. ------ I'm a 5'9" person and weigh 190 pounds. To cover key points: Overall: 1.6 stars out of 5, rounded up to 2. Pros: + Kinda helped my tailbone, to a other pillow came.+ The cover is cheap but I oddly liked its feel.8 hours a day for a week on an office/computer chair it got noticeably softer regardless of the side I use it basically feels immediately and no longer provides enough support. The edges of this pillow collapsed from the hardness within a few days.- It still hangs my tailbone but I still feel a sharp pain when I try to stand up unless I bend over sometimes while sitting. The pain I feel gets worse the longer I sit. - The notch in my tailbone doesn't seem to be deep enough. I often sit with part of my back over the edge for more relief It took some effort to get over the to position carved support. erly too. That covers the most important bits; More info about me, the product and how I got my review: I injured my tailbone squatting on a very hard kneepad (designed for working in a car and such) centered under my tailbone. I assume because he was so hard, but not quite hard, he dug into my tailbone on my squats. The pressure I was putting on some other bones (I think the pelvis, the area just above the anus and "inside" the buttocks) made it sag. It was a mistake to persevere despite the pain. I usually used (and still use) a pillow to make squats less painful. It hurts me to squat on a hard surface but not the coccyx/coccyx. Before I got this pillow, I used a regular memory foam pillow positioned under my hips. It worked, but I had to lean forward. It hurt my back a little. The other pillow I currently have is Cushina. It's here on Revane. I can't rate it properly yet as I just received it. However, based on the couple of hours I've already put on it, it definitely helps more than when I first sat on it. I still have pain trying to get up, but the pain builds up much more slowly. I can sit more than before without disturbing my tailbone as much. The product itself is very light. The package weight is listed as 2 pounds, but the product itself is definitely not that heavy. My Cushina shipping weight was 1.3 pounds (which also doesn't match the product), but it's slightly heavier. The product also has no more than half an inch of memory foam. It also doesn't appear to be uniform judging by the edges of the pillow. Memory foam produces no more than a 5% difference in comfort after the pillow itself has softened. The memory foam itself also doesn't hold its shape at all. The cover, although I like it, is cheap. I don't think it will hold up in the wash. Also trying to put the cap back on after taking it off was quite a challenge.
