My dogs didn't eat the standard store food (healthy and nutritious) so the vet recommended several brands that dogs might find tastier. One of the less expensive brands (some cost over $60 a bag) seemed to do the trick. The dogs started eating again. I started with Nurtro from the pet store ($50 pack, 12 cans about $23), it did well. When I got them from the internet the glasses seemed "dry" like they were old. Can't tell they were old but some wet stuff seemed to be stuck to the top of the glasses. Dogs still love to eat food, but in my opinion it doesn't seem as fresh anymore. I hope dogs still like Nutro because it will cost a lot more to switch to Royal Canin even though that brand was the vets' first choice.
