I had high hopes for these scissors as I have been cutting my husband's hair since the pandemic started. I used a pair of hair scissors from the dollar store, which weren't very good. I thought we could use a better pair and these shears had good reviews so I ordered. I tried them on my husband and I absolutely despised them. The screw kept falling apart and they were so stupid. The Dollar Store scissors were a huge improvement over them, but maybe I just got a defective pair. It was difficult to stop the haircut to turn the scissors again. I'll be back and I don't recommend them at all. 🌟 I'm updating my review... I received a refund on this product and I'm sure the product is good if you can service the turnbuckle. I think my scissors were very loose to begin with but could be tightened if needed. I think I'm used to the more generic style of scissors. I would recommend this product to DIYers or anyone with experience using a turnbuckle. Hope that helps.
