Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Removable Printing Function 220X220X250mm by Voxelab by Manuel Gfx

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good, but there are some problems.

Well packaged, arrived undamaged. Assembly instructions are ok. All the necessary tools are supplied - During assembly I found that the parts of the frame (uprights) were not square to the main frame (secured with spacers) - The bed frame/rails were very loose (the cot was wobbly) - Used with outdated software delivered, custom The screen interface is very limited. (Voxelab has an update on their website) - The hot end fan is always on. - The fan of the power supply is incredibly loud! - Stepper motors are almost silent (when the PS fan is not running you can hardly hear the stepper motors) Updated 2/8/21. Standard hot ends are Meh. I switched both Aquila to E3D V6 hotend and the difference is day and night. - Put a 1W 330 ohm resistor in series with the E3D hot-end fan, it will slow it down and make it silent. very quiet. - PSU noise is still present after installing quieter fans, just not as loud. I decided to power both externally with two server power supplies (configured for 24VDC). The work is now silent. In all these cases, it offers excellent value for money, but it needs some tweaking to improve it. You end up with a printer (with an E3D V6 hot end) that is a lot better than the stock Creality. V2 and cheaper. Flashforge/Voxelab sells them on their website for $179 with free shipping. It's hard to beat. I have a third one on the way. who receive the same treatment.
