Features and functions are good, so I chose this charger. However, the directions are vague. I am mechanical by nature and was an auto mechanic in the late 60's and 70's. I also taught math in high school and never had trouble understanding math while pursuing an engineering degree. I'm sure I could understand this little charger if properly explained. I was trying to charge a car battery that I knew was dead. I didn't get any instructions when I connected the cables wrong. After I fixed the connection, I got some readings from the charger, but the instructions didn't explain how to interpret them. Now I will try to charge a new battery that is dead but should be charged. If it works I would give this charger 4 and 1/2 stars if it was possible. I will reconsider my opinion on this charger and its instructions after further use.
