Upgraded from Fenix 2 to this Fenix 5S Plus in December and was very, very satisfied. For its main function, sport, it's fantastic. The connection to the GPS is instantaneous. The map function is also excellent and surprisingly functional for the screen size. Connected to Bluetooth headphones with no issues. It doesn't play Audible books natively - I have to convert them to MP4 with OpenAudible, but once that's done it plays them fine and keeps its place between sessions. The Strava segments feature isn't quite as good as it is on the iPhone, but it's good enough that I LOVE that I no longer have to lug my phone around while running. In terms of basic functionality, the smaller size is more convenient for everyday use. use. I have to charge every two days. The screen is a little dim - not even close to the brightness or resolution of an Apple Watch, but I need buttons - for gloves when it's cold and for kneading when I'm running on a track or in a race. In my opinion, it's worth the compromise. I don't use postal functions, so I can't comment on that.
