I am a very active person and I exercise almost every day. A few years ago I had a serious knee injury and a patellar tendon tear. major oh It was reattached but now I have chronic pain. My other knee isn't doing well either. I tried this machine and continued my regular workout, which consisted of a combination of cardio and strength training. He does two things. It supports my knees by putting pressure above and below the patella and my knee joint follows better and stays in line during exercise. I can use any leg machine with weights but it was painful. With these bands, the pain is gone. I deducted one star because the Velcro fasteners are a bit small and sometimes fall off during a strenuous workout. In addition, they are easy to put on and very comfortable. Unlike compression stockings, they don't put any pressure on my kneecaps.
