Ideal for use with seedless Japanese incense along with a beautiful incense bowl. It also makes an excellent bedding for charcoal bricks. It's a very fine ash, so when you first open it, move slowly and carefully or you'll end up with a big cloud of ash! I recommend pouring it into a bowl instead of watering it, although you can water it the same way if you're careful. One sachet is enough for several months of use. You can also filter it through a sieve from time to time to remove unburned incense residue. Do this outdoors or you will end up with ash everywhere. Also use a jar or a special tool to compact the ashes after they are in the bowl. This works under compression. Highly recommended for regular smoking!
