Want to create a 3D model, find a 3D printer and go through the entire R&D process, or just spend $30? This item is not overpriced considering what you have to do to get this product yourself. This product is a third-party solution that helps eliminate coffee grounds spills and reduce cleaning time on select Breville machines. Two important things a buyer might want to know. not come into contact with this device. No heat is applied to it either. This only applies to the grinding process. I understand people's concerns when it comes to plastic when it heats. This is not one of those products. Don't use this to extract. It wasn't meant or designed for that. Now for my review: We ALL spent over $500 saving time and/or money by drinking coffee every day. We can say that our espresso machines are necessary in order not to waste money. This purchase does not pay for itself as quickly as an espresso machine. However, you will have less ground coffee waste AND less overflow cleaning. I suspect that without this device I probably wasted 1-4 double shots per pack for a premium roast ordering a coffee. Some of the grist is spilled, and some comes from the pre-tap taps to evenly apply the grist. This device is by no means necessary. But you are here because you don't want to waste your time and money? Then take it. (I usually use the roast to order counterculture coffee beans.)
