Review on 30 Sets 4 Inch Soft Plant Nursery Pots With Humidity Domes And Drain Holes, 10 Plant Labels - Seed Starting Trays For Germination by Ickey Case

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thin plastic but still best individual domed starter pot I've found

These are adorable and perfect for growing carnivorous plant seedlings. Really any seedlings probably, but the drain holes are really big which makes it ideal for cape sundews, pitcher plants, probably even vft.The pots themselves are suuuuper thin plastic but they don't seem to get cracked or permanently wrinkled if I crush them, which makes up for it. Besides, I'm just gonna fill it with dirt and that will be all the weight I need. The lids fit only ok, but I haven't filled any yet and that may make a difference in fit once they're full. I actually plan to do that today because I've got some baby sundews that need potting up.I'm also planning on germinating some seeds in peat pods then transferring them to these (w/soil obviously) before I give them away, to make it easier for the recipients to care for them and harden them off themselves. It's a lot more shocking for plants to go from my cozy heated trays to a new home without a humidity dome and it's not all that easy to find reasonable individual domed seedling pots. Probably also going to start cactus seeds in here.Anyway, they seem versatile. Flimsy but these aren't pots most normal plants will spend their whole life in so they don't need to be ultra sturdy. And they're kinda cute with the terra cotta coloring.

Pros
  • Easy labeling
Cons
  • The humidity domes may be difficult to clean and sterilize between uses
