This is a great sensory activity! My kids aged 7 and 3 loved it. I used the "under the bed" storage bin to store the beads. We only used 2 tablespoons of pearls and there are so many! As soon as it hits the water, they immediately begin to expand. They feel and look just like balls. Once they reach their full size, pour out the remaining water or they will crumble. I've taken them out of the water for 4 days now and they're still the same size and usable. The packaging says non-toxic, ideal for children and pets. Oddly enough, both kids and adults will like it. My husband says taking breaks from work actually relieves stress. :)
