Review on Elanz Pack Reflective Breakaway Collar by Donald Vargas

Either my cats don't like tags or tags are too funny

I have these because sometimes my small, 7 pounds. Adult cats slip past me and run out the front door or jump out the window and land on the roof or in a tree. A friend's cat went away one day and didn't come home. i'm worried you know I prefer to keep my cats indoors. The collar should be comfortable enough for everyday wear, yet functional and durable enough to help me locate them if they get lost. I need a collar with space for contact info and reflectivity to improve nighttime visibility. The reflective strips on it work well. In daylight, the colors of the stripes look washed out; The effect is pastel rather than bright. This material is similar to the waterproof fabric used to attach bags to bicycles. Unfortunately, I find charms and bells annoying for my cats - maybe they're too many things to carry around. Tags can be too big, too unwieldy for them. The pendants hang low so that cats can easily pick them up in their mouths. My older cat removes the collar and drops it in the middle of the room (meaning the tear off feature works), defeating the purpose of a collar. The younger cat stumbles, rolls and runs demon-possessed, trying to snatch the dangling bits into its mouth. Both have repeatedly bitten into the tracks, which are now covered by dozens of tiny tooth marks. The tags have a lightweight plastic body that's strong enough, but thin inserts are similar to those used in folder indexes. For me, this purchase was kind of a failure. I would be happier with a new multipack of velvet collars that I previously bought and the cats seem comfortable in them, but I decided to give it a try instead as velvet gets dirty easily. These reflective collars don't look dirty easily. I think these collars are better for either a miniature dog that doesn't care about tags, or a big, lazy cat that doesn't seem dwarfed or committed. fight day. They would be better collars if the charms were smaller and less loose.
