Review on Unlock Extraordinary Close-Up Detail with Raynox DCR-250 Super Macro Snap-On Lens by Philip Russell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

**Wow! Budget Macro Lens** Raynox DCR-250 2.5x Super Macro Lens

If you are interested in macro photography but are not willing to invest heavily in expensive lenses, this is a great way to try macro photography and fall in love with a tiny world that is right in front of us, but cannot be seen with traditional cameras and lenses. Is it as good as a fully specialized lens? No, but I took some very nice pictures with it. is that convenient? Yes of course. It's a clip that attaches to most lenses, so you can slip it in your camera bag, snap the lens on and off, allowing you to quickly switch from landscape to macro and back again while other photographers are busy changing lenses Lenses fumbling and their cameras exposing to dust and mud in the field. I give it a solid 4, especially for beginners and hobbyists who just want to have fun without going broke. For a full unboxing and YouTube review, see the title I provided for this review. In my video you can see sample images and learn all the details about this cute and nifty gadget! My rating is for the DCR 250 at 2.5x magnification. There is also a DCR 150 with 1.5x magnification. This lens basically reduces the minimum focus distance for your lens. It doesn't work with all lenses, despite the near-universal snap-on feature. If you have a telephoto lens but it already has a minimum focusing distance, say 10 inches. This is 10 inches from the focus which is inside the lens/camera body. If you decrease this focus distance, your new focus distance can be 3-4 inches where the lens almost touches the subject (which still works), OR the focus distance can be inside the lens (if the lens is larger than 3-4 inches ). 4 inches). 4 inches long), in this case the lens can never focus. You must carefully check the lens for compatibility.
