Review on πŸ” ROXANT Ultra-Light Mini Monocular Pocket Scope - High Definition Vision on-the-go with Carrying Case, Neck Strap, and Cleaning Cloth by Michael Freemason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought and compared 4 cheap pocket monoculars.

Bought. Anything under $20. - Celestron upClose g2 10x25 (71213) - HDE compact monocular with 15x zoom 21 mm - Roxant High Definition Ultra-Light Mini - Imaisen no name. I bought it because the page said "Revains Choice". Only 1 review. To get straight to the point. The Celestron UpClose g2 was the only "usable" monocular in the group. Also it has a very small opening (like through a straw). But at least getting a scope was relatively easy, and pretty clear when you had it. I keep it. This Roxant was the worst of them all. Cloudy, never could get a good focus. And in the group of very cheap monoculars, this thing felt the cheapest. But in reality it was the most expensive. The rest was cheaper. Imaisen (Revains' choice) was close to Roxant in terms of evil. Cloudy, bad focus. Simply bad. lol. Compact Monocular HDE 15X Zoom 21mm I'm on the fence. It actually has a damn good zoom feature. You can actually zoom in much closer than any other monocular. Actually it was amazing. If you could find what you are looking for. It was almost impossible to concentrate on any subject. If others were like looking through a straw, this was like looking through a hole. I spent quite a bit of time matching the image of the crosshair to where the image actually is in the area. I think it's called Eye Relief. And it's absolutely awful. However, once you found an object in the distance and zoomed in on it, it was much larger than everyone else. It was impressive. I could hold the picture for a full second. It should be called Small & Shaky. I'm considering keeping it though because the zoom is cool. So I leave the Celestron and load it into our camper or truck just to have something. But I will definitely get something better. After looking through these things for about an hour, I grabbed my Nikon 7x50 binoculars. I nearly cried. Hope that helps. -SF
