Great budget pocket monocular.

This item was purchased primarily as a travel accessory to be used with a full sized pair of binoculars, but not instead. Something for those "quick peeks" where it wouldn't be practical or necessary to pull out a bulky full-size pair of binoculars. In this regard, the Roxant monocular does an excellent job. Extremely small and very light, it fits perfectly in a shirt or cargo pocket. But apart from everything else, what sets this monocular apart from similar products is the image quality. Iโ€ฆ

Good value for money!

The visor arrived today, a day late because the delivery was broken. I suggested to Roxant that they just use UPS and decline the "SurePost" option, and they told me it was a Revain solution, so be patient: where I live, USPS will just leave the package next to my mailbox on the street where anyone can throw it in their car and UPS put the package on my tailgate. The post office is 3 miles from my house and a UPS truck drives by after dropping off a package for delivery at the post office. Hiโ€ฆ

Nice little scope in monoculars

Nice little scope. I bought it mainly to take with me when hiking/hiking since it's small pocket size and very light weight. I lent the scope to a friend for a few minutes and she was amazed at how well she could see with it. It has good ergonomics, the optics are clear and fairly sharp throughout the field of view. Things are in focus from about 10-12 feet to infinity. (Note: you need both hands to hold it and turn the focus ring.) The removal is short - I have to take my glasses off to useโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I bought and compared 4 cheap pocket monoculars.

Bought. Anything under $20. - Celestron upClose g2 10x25 (71213) - HDE compact monocular with 15x zoom 21 mm - Roxant High Definition Ultra-Light Mini - Imaisen no name. I bought it because the page said "Revains Choice". Only 1 review. To get straight to the point. The Celestron UpClose g2 was the only "usable" monocular in the group. Also it has a very small opening (like through a straw). But at least getting a scope was relatively easy, and pretty clear when you had it. I keep it. Thisโ€ฆ

Good Product: Camera & Photo

The review below is a reply to an email from ROXANT offering a free extra monocular in exchange for a review. I did NOT have to submit this review to get the free monocular. (The text below has been slightly modified from my original ROXANT answer to be more relevant to the Revain review). I bought this monocular both for outdoor activities like camping and hiking and to always have it in my car in case I need it. I also bought another competitor product to compare with this one. ROXANT Scope, let's set a record

I received mine today and my first impression of the build quality is a little lower than I expected. I was expecting it to be pliable and lightweight, but read on. When it comes to specifications and statistics, Revain does not accept the publication of exact product weights, dimensions, etc. under any circumstances. and that's if they release any specs at all. I have seen ROXANT in the 4.8 to 2.8 ounce range. Actual product weight: 1.4 ounces or 40 grams. The small pocket case weighs 0.4โ€ฆ
