The foil appears silvery and in the right light (not every light source causes this) it can have a holographic effect. Depending on how the foil is applied, this effect can be strong or subtle. I used the Sakura Quickie Glue Stick to add holographic accents to the box design. The holographic effect is reduced by lamination. The effect disappears completely when using a self-adhesive holographic foil. In any case, the foil remains sparkling silver.
