Review on Fruit of the Loom Men's Elastic-Bottom Sweatpants by Cool Martin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

GOOD VALUE for the money!

I wear jogging pants EVERY day in the winter. I bought these to replace a couple of pair of Russells that had fallen into disrepair. I've worn Russell for many years now. (Which isn't bad for the money.) Russells usually last a few years before they start to stretch and fall off my back. Fruit of the Looms is a bit thicker. They have a thicker waistband (twice the size of Russell's) and a thicker drawstring. (Big plus!) The ankle cuffs on the Fruit of The Looms feel a little looser at the bottom than the Russells. And they appear to be slightly larger than the Russells. They are cotton/polyester so I can shrink them a bit in the wash. Mixtures don't usually shrink. And only a little if you wash them in hot water and dry them on high heat. Maybe next time I'll buy MEDIUM instead of LARGE just to see if they fit a little tighter. I don't, but some people like baggy sweatpants. They also have deeper pockets than the Russells. I don't care because I always wear deep-pocketed basketball shorts over sweatpants when I'm out carrying my stuff anyway. (Everyone finds this a little weird except my sister, who is a fashion guru. She once used this look for a photoshoot and told me that I'm now a "fashion expert" on this look. Wearing basketball shorts over gym clothes is a statement .Mods?Who knew?LOL.) Fruit of The Looms are well constructed and a bit cheaper than Russells so when I use them for a few years I'll be happy to switch brands. Hope that helps.
