Good picture though. Noise, USB issues and funny user manual

Great picture for such a low price, but I had problems. I'll start with the good news: the picture is great. It can be played from some USB sticks (see below). It automatically loops MP4 files and possibly others. Here are my problems: The fan is unnecessarily loud. He works to the fullest all the time. Of course, this is not necessary as the fan stops the moment you press the off button. If the projector had been properly designed, the fan would continue to run after the projector was turned off until the bulb temperature dropped. When properly designed, the fan runs at variable speed and may blow silently in cooler conditions. However, the projector didn't feel warm (good) when I touched it after an hour of work. So it's just bad design that makes the fan so loud. The second problem relates to USB. After several unsuccessful attempts to play the MP4 file, I tried one of my very old USB sticks and it worked. The problem could either be USB 3.1 or my new drives are big enough to require exFAT. My smaller USB 2.0 drives with FAT32 work fine. By the way, I appreciated that this projector automatically plays an MP4 file. The third problem: The manual is ridiculously small and lacks any technical details. Sitting here at my desk, I don't need reading glasses or computer screens. However, this manual cannot be read without a magnifying glass.

Pros
  • Big screen and built-in speakers
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
