The 3M tape is very secure and didn't stray an inch from the back of my phone. The gem and stone ring are very cute, and the aurora effect is very beautiful. However, the loop of the ring will loosen over time and will not function as a stand. Aurora's effects wear off after a short time. And the gem is so bulky that the phone cannot be placed horizontally. Overall, it definitely helps me not to drop my Galaxy S9. I attached it to the back of the clear case to hide the barcode sticker. UPDATE 04/18/2019: This lasted about 6 months before the ring and gemstone detached from the flat piece of metal that was stuck to the phone which almost made me fall over. my c9. I can't figure out how to reattach it and it seems like rotating the phone strips the screw holding it together.
