I found these when needing red napkins. I knew going in they weren’t going to be absorbent given what they’re made of. Reading reviews of how easy they washed up without stains made me purchase them. After initially washing before first use, I noticed the finish had a lot of stringy threads that had to be trimmed off if they didn’t wash off. After two launderings, they still wanted to fold like they were when I first received them, plus they are stained from one use. Not planning to use them again for guests since they are obviously stained and will not use them any other time since they don’t absorb anything - except stains.
