Updated rating after 1.5 months of use: ----- The outsole is completely worn out after only 40-50 hours of use on hard turf. They didn't have enough grip to be used on an indoor lumber court so I have no idea where they might be used. Maybe a carpeted gym? It feels like it took longer to break in than wear out. Buy them for walking around the mall, not for serious athletic purposes. Old rating after 1 week of use: ------ Context: I am a forefoot striker who uses these shoes for hard court tennis. Cheap foam soles = less shock absorption. I feel a small bruise on the forefoot. The foam has noticeably less friction than the rubber outsole, which is good when I need to turn, but I feel like it almost slips in tight corners. I'm sure I'll slip when they wear out a bit. I sprained my ankles slightly (twice left and once right) in the first week of wearing these shoes 3 times, probably because I had blisters on the inside of my forefoot so bad that I unconsciously twisted my feet outward. They were very cheap. So I guess you get what you pay for.
