Review on ๐Ÿš” Xprite 86 LED Sun Visor Strobe Flashing Lights - Green | Emergency Hazard Warning Light for Law Enforcement Vehicle Truck by Darius Early

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not top notch but worth the money.

This light is not as bright as the latest Whelen or Feniex lights but is brighter than first generation LED products. I don't have the ability to measure the light output but I think it's on par with my old TIR3 Whelen Slimlighter. For the price it couldn't be better. The best thing about this new version of the light is that the power is controlled by the cigarette lighter switch rather than the light itself. On previous versions, power had to be activated first via the cigarette lighter switch and then via the power control on the front of the flashlight. If you decide to plug it in instead of the cigarette lighter plug you will need to provide a different power switch as the one on the front of the light is factory wired to the 'always on' position. The flash pattern section is also performed using the controls on the front of the flashlight. The only odd thing I noticed about this flashlight is that it takes about half a second for the flashlight to remember the memorized flash pattern when you first turn it on. At this point, both LED panels light up "constantlyโ€ with a brightness of around 50%. Like I said, it's only half a second and not really a problem. It's just different from other flashlights I've used. The light comes with two nylon straps to attach to the mirror. It also has small holes in the frame where you can permanently screw it to an interior surface or DIY mount.
